Days are a flying by

I can't believe it's been that long since I was here. Boy the time has flown.

Lots of things with the girlchild have been happening, some of it good and some of it bad. Par for the course really.

The last couple of days have been quite enjoyable. I've reconnected with my friend KJ and we've spent the last couple of days hanging out. Sometimes there's nothing like just spending a couple of hours talking and getting to know someone. It's been a while since I've done that. Normally I get to know someone through IMs as one or both of us are quite busy or through the exchange of emails. I'd forgotten just how enjoyable it is doing it the old fashioned way.

There are tentative plans in the works for Tuesday as the kids have a 4-day. Heaven help me.
