Today is another one of those days where I feel as though I am at the mercy of someone's whim.
While I sit here giving myself a mental pat on the back for having made contact with STUPO about my orders, I can't help but wonder why I'm astonished about yet another issue.
EFMP is complete and the paperwork (even taking the slow boat to China) would be at STUPO hopefully by early tomorrow.
Went into STUPO to find out whether they'd received said paperwork, no.
Much to everyone's amazement (but mine), I have no orders. Not deferred orders, but no orders. What does that mean for me, no clue. Hoping to hear something tomorrow about what's going on. Apparently certain things should have been from when he was in Korea, and they weren't and the ball just kept being dropped along the way. Hopefully someone will pick it up and run (really really fast) with it.
Just need to keep my spirits up and trust that it'll all work out for the best in the end. Hopefully if I keep repeating that to myself, I'll start believing it.
