Yes I'm back online and so far so good. I've been back online less than 4 hours and I've already had 1 trojan and my newly installed firewall has blocked 4 attempts already.
Right now the girl-child is upstairs playing with the little girl that lives next door S. S is two years older than the girl-child but only 1 grade ahead of her in school. While I do like S and enjoy having her around I feel really sorry for her. She is a very pretty girl and has a skewed sense of popularity and desires nothing else but to be popular. The sad part of it all is that most of the kids at her school doesn't like her and the majority of the other kids in the neighbourhood doesn't like her either. A big part of it seems to be her inbuilt self defense mechanism that seems to put everyone off. I just hope for her sake that she is able to resolve all if it as she really is a lovely girl.
Apart from that I haven't been doing too much really. I ran around last week and I honestly couldn't tell you what I accomplished (apart from reinstalling the computer). I did sign myself up for some classes (free) that should keep me out of trouble while the hubby has deployed. Took the girl-child to see Narnia yesterday and she said that she really enjoyed it. Poor thing cried almost throughout the entire movie. She has the entire series of Narnia books and I hope the movie stirred some interest in her reading the series.
